Who I am and Why I do it ....

My name is Pauline Christiansen. I am the creator behind Wedding Treasures and I have been making wedding cake toppers for five years now.

I began creating with fimo clay over seven years ago and it all began when I picked up some clay that my husband had left lying around because I was bored. I shaped something that resembled a teddy bear sitting down and even though he had a very flat back, my hubby encouraged me to carry on. I began making dogs and cats, elephants and rabbits and just over five years ago I made my first bride and groom topper.

I was amazed when a couple of people ordered from EBay and its gone on from there so much so that I have been able to give up my day job and work from home making personalised cake toppers for all occasions.

At the start of every model, I wonder how it's going to turn out and its not until I'm about 3/4 of the way through the model that I realise its all going well and I'm happy with it. I have had many a squished dress along with heads and flowers when I was not happy with them and its true what they say about practise makes perfect.

I work closely with each client and keep in constant touch to enable me to get their personalised cake topper 100% whichever way they choose.
